Job Overview:
We are rapidly expanding across the United States and is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (Construction Supervisor) to oversee the design, construction, and renovation of our retail stores nationwide. This role will be responsible for supervising contractors, ensuring compliance with building codes and brand standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have experience in retail or food & beverage construction projects, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of store construction projects, from planning, permitting, and bidding to execution and handover.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and brand guidelines.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans; monitor and control costs.
- Conduct regular site inspections (in person or via remote technology) to ensure quality and progress.
- Identify and resolve issues or delays, providing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Real Estate, Design, and Supply Chain teams) to ensure smooth store openings.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, reports, and punch lists.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different states.
- Provide weekly updates to senior management on project status and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in construction supervision, project management, or engineering (retail/F&B preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects across different regions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar project management tools.
- Willingness to travel (up to 30 40%) to store locations nationwide.
