Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are organized and available.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and manage the handling of specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations.
• Schedule appointments and facilitate effective communication within the office.
• Educate patients regarding treatment options, medication usage, and effective skincare practices.
• Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked with medical supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for positive patient interactions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail, especially in a busy healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and standard office software is beneficial.
