Sales Support Specialist – Base Salary:46k-52k + Commission

A client of ours is seeking a driven and detail-focused Sales Support Specialist to support customers in a fast-paced industrial sales environment. This inside sales role is responsible for managing quotations, processing orders, tracking shipments, and serving as the primary contact for customer needs.

You’ll work closely with customers handling high transaction volumes while building long-term partnerships. Success in this role requires strong organization, responsiveness, and the ability to think critically when solving application or product challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate quotes and manage order entry from start to finish

• Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and account activity

• Monitor order status and ensure timely follow-up

• Collaborate with outside sales, operations, accounting, and leadership

• Provide solutions that support customer equipment and application requirements

Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience supporting customers in a business-to-business sales environment

• Clear and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing

• Comfortable working within ERP/CRM platforms and standard business software

• Strong numerical confidence and the ability to understand technical product details

• Effective at managing deadlines, priorities, and multiple customer requests simultaneously

• Exposure to fluid power, motion control, or industrial components is advantageous

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating across teams

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework or related experience welcomed
