Liquidity Risk Analyst

Description
The candidate will review and evaluate the effectiveness of the corporation's key liquidity risk processes as well as provide continual ongoing monitoring for the processes.
- Conduct independent evaluation and assessment of the bank's liquidity risk processes. Assessments include scoping, testing, and reporting on adequacy of processes.
- Provide input for quarterly independent liquidity risk assessments, specific to process evaluation, control environment, and top and emerging risks.
- Follow developments in the external markets as it pertains to industry liquidity or practices.
- Understand and assess impact of pending, new, and existing regulatory guidance and policies.
- Communicate clearly/effectively with management the results of evaluations as well as provide recommendations intended to enhance risk management practices.
- Ability to identify material risks and define the scope in a timely and effective manner.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- 5 or more years experience and knowledge of liquidity risk management, Treasury or A/L management or Audit of these areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Excel or other data base management tools·
- Detailed understanding of commercial bank balance sheet and income statements
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
