Professional Services Veterinarian - Marketing - #8028
-Support commercial and business needs of the company involving innovation and current product portfolio.
-Provide technical expertise and education to effectively communicate product information to the commercial team.
-Marketing support: work with key team members to translate innovation science or updates in scientific literature and thereby assist in the development of technical or marketing presentations/materials.
-Work effectively and collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to consistently meet expectations around effective communication and overall teamwork.
-Support events/sponsorship opportunities at national tradeshows as needed.
-Work with key team members to assist in claims development.
-Provide technical expertise on the company portfolio of products as assigned.
-Review medical messaging created by marketing to ensure accuracy.
-As needed, organize and deliver technical training sessions for internal and external groups.
-Keep up to date on assigned veterinary products or topics through technical publications, conference attendance, and formal training.
-Communicate effectively across departments and function in a team environment.
-Regular attendance is required.
-Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement: -Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent Required Experience and Skills: -2-5 years of experience in Veterinary Practice experience, with experience in Veterinary Industry a plus.
-Prior experience with marketing is desirable.
-Practical experience to support relevant marketing efforts.
-Competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
-Self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including oral presentations and writing.
-Ability to work effectively in team environments and across departments, including the sales team.
-Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments.
-Exhibit willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.
