Full Time Nanny

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–5:30pm
Children: 7 year old girl and 1 year old girl
Pets: Small Yorkie

About the Family

This adventurous, military family recently relocated to Asheville after years of moving and is excited to welcome a nanny who can become part of their vibrant, music-loving home. Mom is a physician and Dad is a stay-at-home parent, both with Navy backgrounds.

Their two daughters each bring something special: the 7 year old is independent and curious, with a love for science, reading, and piano, while the 1 year old is joyful and content following her own rhythm. The family values a warm, organized caregiver who can provide structure while keeping days fun and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care, including feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and maintaining routines
• Engage the 7-year-old in creative and educational activities such as reading, crafts, and science-based play
• Light driving for school pick-up and outings to parks or activities
• Keep children’s play areas tidy and organized

Qualifications

• Previous childcare experience with infants and school-aged children
• Organized, proactive, and reliable
• Positive, playful, and energetic personality
• Clean background check
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
