Payments Portfolio Strategist

Randstad Strategic Accounts is looking for a business professional with a knowledge and proficiency working in the banking industry. We have a role that we are looking to fill for a contract position with a top tier bank in the financial industry. salary: $78 - $81.88 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Strategy & Strategic Planning:

• Proven experience developing multi‑year strategies for large, complex organizations
• Ability to design and articulate strategy frameworks (vision, North Star, themes, roadmaps, value levers)
• Capability to translate ambiguity into structured, fact‑based strategic narratives

Payments & Financial Services Domain:

• Payments domain experience strongly preferred (e.g., ACH, wires, instant payments, investigations, servicing, controls)
• Understanding of operational, regulatory, and risk considerations in financial services environments

Executive Communication & Storytelling:

• Exceptional skill in creating executive‑ready decks, narratives, and decision materials
• Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear, concise leadership messaging
• Comfort interfacing directly with senior leaders and domain experts

Synthesis & Problem Solving:

• Ability to piece together disparate context, data, and viewpoints into a coherent strategy or recommendation
• Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking skills to assess options, trade‑offs, and impacts

Execution & Integration:

• Experience supporting integration planning, roadmap development, and sequencing of initiatives
• Familiarity with execution governance, dependency management, and progress tracking
• Ability to bridge strategy and delivery to ensure intent is preserved through execution
