Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14 - $14 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Waste Sorter:

• Clean and maintain recycling yard and collection equipment
• Safely remove chemicals from discarded appliances
• Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place them on conveyor belts
• Operate balers to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales
• Use machines to load items onto trucks for shipment to other recycling facilities

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Prior experience in recycling yard preferred
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and reach, bend, push, pull, and climb
• Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
• Able to remain in a stationary position for up to 10 hours
• Background check and drug test required
