Redmond CPA is seeking a Full-Time Staff Accountant to join our team and contribute to our commitment to professionalism, strategic focus and client success for our valued small business clients. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:

1. Tax Compliance Preparation

2. Research and Apply Tax Codes

3. Identifying and assessing various tax issues to provide to tax managers

4. Scan tax documents

5. Professionalism

6. Create spreadsheets in excel to compile and organize client data

7. Provide telephone support

8. Contact clients for missing information

9. Work with Quickbooks to compile client data for tax preparation

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or working towards
• 1 + years of accounting experience, preferably with a finance department or tax firm
• Strong understanding of basic tax regulations a plus

2. Technical Proficiency

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software (Quickbooks) is a plus
• Strong computer literacy

3. Professional Skills

• Attention to administrative detail and strong written and quantitative skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-pace, collaborative environment
• Willingness to learn office operations and effectively support staff

4. Communication and Teamwork

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Collaboratively work with Tax team members, building rapport and strong relationships
• Seek guidance and actively participate in team discussions and projects
