Front-End Developer (Power BI & Angular)
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Front-End Developer (Power BI & Angular) in Durham, NC. Summary: In this role, you will collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Product Owners, and Architects to define and implement technical strategies for reporting and UI development. This role demands hands-on development expertise across BI and front-end technologies and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality features. You'll be expected to operate independently, contributing effectively with minimal supervision. Power BI Development:
- 6+ years of experience building dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI
- Experience integrating Power BI with enterprise systems and embedding reports in applications
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and implementing row-level security
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience integrating UI with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of relational databases (Snowflake, Oracle, or similar) and SQL optimization
- Familiarity with Git and branching strategies for version control
- Adherence to best practices for testing (unit and integration) and code reviews
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for automated deployments
- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience in financial services, preferably in the Mutual Fund environment
