Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview:

Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will provide essential mechanical engineering services, contributing to the creation of construction drawings and specifications for a diverse array of client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mechanical design process for both large-scale and smaller projects.
• Directly collaborate with architects and project owners, ensuring clear communication and successful project execution.
• Conduct preliminary project evaluations and prepare detailed reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation.
• Develop comprehensive design documents including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Manage design schedules and coordinate the efforts of design team members to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in Mechanical Design including HVAC load calculations, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, air distribution design of VAV and CV systems, hydronic system design, equipment selection, Shop drawing review, assessment of existing systems and facilities, and field observation and reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of the International Mechanical and Energy Conservation Codes
• BS in Mechanical Engineering (PE Registration preferred)
  
• Must know REVIT and AutoCAD
• Must be a US Citizen.
