Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

Join Phoenix Landscape, a leader in the landscaping industry, as a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader. This role is crucial in managing and directing a team of 2 to 10 service workers, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for optimizing resource use, developing team members, and meeting client expectations. The position also emphasizes safety, minimizing accidents, and managing equipment and property effectively. Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance routes and ensure all vehicles are in safe operating condition.
• Oversee accurate clock-in times and manage the completion of daily or weekly reports.
• Train team members in equipment and tool operation, enforcing safety standards.
• Address and minimize equipment emergencies, breakdowns, and incidents related to staff and customer property.
• Communicate and document repair and replacement needs for equipment/tools.
• Conduct minor repairs to tools and equipment as needed.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily activities for assigned service workers.
• Maintain a professional appearance and punctuality.
• Support the mission, goals, and strategies of Yardnique.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Lead Man in landscape or maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of standard landscape horticultural practices.
• Beginning knowledge of hardscape and irrigation concepts.
• Basic English language skills; basic Spanish preferred.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid State Driver's License; CDL preferred.
• Studying for the Pesticide Trainee License.
