Salary: $135,000-150,000

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

This is a high-impact, ground-floor opportunity to define how AI is leveraged across a legacy finance organization undergoing major technology transformation.

Position Overview

Seeking an Implementation Lead to own AI initiatives end-to-end, from identifying opportunities with business stakeholders through architecture, development, and deployment within AWS.

This individual will serve as a strategic partner to the business, helping determine where AI can create measurable value while building scalable, production-ready solutions in a regulated environment.

The first 6–12 months will focus on assessing the current landscape, delivering early wins, and establishing foundational AI development and MLOps processes. Long-term, this role will expand into customer-facing AI solutions.

What You'll Do

• Own AI initiatives from concept through deployment

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases

• Architect and deploy AI solutions within AWS

• Build and deploy solutions leveraging LLMs (currently using Claude; model-agnostic approach)

• Develop in Python using modern IDE environments

• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to implement CI/CD and MLOps best practices

• Work with third-party vendors on AI integrations and deployments

• Help establish AI governance, development processes, and best practices within a regulated financial environment

• Support broader enterprise technology transformation initiatives

What Success Looks Like

30-60-90 Days:

• Understand current technical and business landscape

• Identify early AI implementation opportunities

• Deliver initial quick-win solutions

6-9 Months:

• Establish scalable AI development and deployment processes

• Lead next major AI initiative

• Formalize MLOps and CI/CD processes where gaps exist

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience

• Passion for AI development

• Experience developing and deploying solutions within AWS

• Experience deploying cloud-based solutions

• Strong Python development skills

• Experience working in regulated industries (Financial Services strongly preferred)

• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors

• Proven ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving mindset with curiosity and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Financial Services or other regulated industries

• Experience implementing MLOps frameworks

• Experience transitioning or modernizing legacy systems

• Experience in organizations undergoing digital transformation
