As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Dunn, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support staff, patients, and visitors while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and armed post protocols when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Support healthcare operations by assisting with emergency calls, observing patient and visitor activity, and documenting security-related events in a clear and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
