North American Controller
North American Controller
This is not your typical Controller role. This is a chance to step into an exceptional leadership opportunity with a company that has a phenomenal culture, strong growth trajectory, and a clear vision for transformation.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the North American Controller will not just manage accounting operations, you’ll redefine them. This is your opportunity to lead a talented team, harness the full potential of SAP S/4HANA , and build a modern, tech-enabled finance function that supports strategic decision-making at every level of the organization.
This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the office (with the flexibility to work remotely the other 2 days). Relocation support is available for the right leader.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Phenomenal culture: Be part of an organization where collaboration, innovation, and accountability aren’t just words, they’re how the business runs every day.
- Transformation mandate: Drive the evolution of Finance operations from traditional accounting to a strategic, technology-forward powerhouse.
- Global reach: Own financial consolidation and reporting for North America, while partnering with international leadership to scale globally.
- Impact from day one: Your leadership will directly shape efficiency, automation, and growth-readiness, including M&A integration capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full utilization of SAP S/4HANA , achieving true system optimization and process standardization.
- Implement automation and process improvements to deliver measurable reductions in cost-per-transaction.
- Build scalable finance infrastructure that supports growth and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee month-end close, AR/AP, tax, expense management, and financial consolidations across U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
- Manage and develop a team of 7 direct reports , empowering them to evolve into a high-performing, future-focused Finance team.
- Partner with external auditors and global finance teams to ensure compliance and strengthen financial controls.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA a plus, CPA strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of building efficient, motivated teams for a manufacturing organization.
- Prior SAP expertise required , with the ability to leverage the system for efficiency and insight.
- Strong background in automation platforms, finance technology, and process transformation.
- Confident communicator with the presence to influence at all levels.
- Experience in global manufacturing is highly preferred.
The Right Candidate
You’re a change agent who thrives in a role where you can modernize, transform, and elevate an accounting operation into a best-in-class Finance function. You’re not satisfied with “good enough”—you want to be part of a company that’s building something exceptional, with the culture and resources to back it up.
Compensation & Benefits
- Highly competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
- Relocation support available.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
- Hybrid schedule (3 in-office / 2 remote).
This is more than a Controller role. This is an opportunity to transform an entire Finance function, lead an outstanding team, and grow with a company that values people, innovation, and excellence.
If you’re ready to bring confidence, technology, and transformational leadership to an exceptional culture - apply today.
