Commercial Irrigation Tech

Phoenix Landscape Management, an industry leader for 30 years, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and a passion for ensuring that gardens and landscapes are properly irrigated. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, contributing to the overall health and beauty of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform the operation, installation, maintenance and repair of manual, semi-automatic and automatic irrigation systems
• Ability to trouble-shoot issues and have solid problem-solving skills
• 2 – wire system knowledge and experience preferred
• Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to complete irrigation tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care, to support overall garden health.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape maintenance or similar roles is preferred.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to irrigation installation and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues in irrigation systems.
• A keen eye for detail when it comes to maintaining landscapes and gardens.
• Use technology for communication and administration tasks
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good driving record with a 3-year history and practice safe driving of company vehicles
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Work well with others
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Irrigation Tech may help in other divisions as needed, especially in the winter months. Normal work hours are Monday thru Thursday from 7am until 5pm or later. Friday work is sometimes required. We are a drug-free workplace.
