Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Trauma Care Stepdown (PCU) position requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week travel contract
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a Trauma Care Stepdown setting

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a PCU or telemetry/stepdown specialty
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Current NIHSS certification required for PCU RNs
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references required (1 reference for most states; 2 references required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• This is a travel-only position; no local candidates will be considered regardless of circumstances
