About the Role

We're partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys owning key aspects of the month-end close process, driving process improvements, and supporting a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to partner across functions to support accurate financial reporting and operational excellence.

What You'll Own

• Prepare and review month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement support
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
• Analyze financial results and provide insight into account fluctuations and reporting trends
• Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiencies and streamline workflows
• Assist with annual audits and serve as a key point of contact for auditor requests
• Support special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives
• Help maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to support a scalable finance organization

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• 2-6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience and/or experience within a private equity-backed, high-growth, or complex operating environment preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience supporting month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working within ERP systems
• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and enhance accounting efficiencies
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
