Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (call centre, retail, or restaurant experience accepted)
• Ability to work within operating hours: Monday – Friday
• Flexibility to work shifts based on business needs
• Intermediate computer literacy

Role Overview

• As a Customer Care Advocate, you will handle inbound customer inquiries via phone and/or email, providing support related to insurance products and benefit plans. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset to ensure an exceptional service experience.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective listening skills, curiosity, and a commitment to resolving customer concerns efficiently while delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Work remotely from a home office with occasional in-person visits for meetings, training, or business needs
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email with professionalism and accuracy
• Research and resolve questions related to policies, claims, and procedures
• Process transactions and route complex requests to appropriate teams, ensuring follow-through
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, empathy, and active listening
• Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to provide accurate and timely information
• Maintain consistency and professionalism in all customer interactions

Qualifications Required

• Must live within a commutable distance to Cary, NC
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of customer service experience xrczosw
• Ability to manage multiple systems (e.g., Word, CRM platforms) while assisting customers

Preferred

• Prior call centre or customer service representative experience
• Strong typing and computer skills
• Experience with insurance or dental-related products
• Previous experience in a dental office (a plus)
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce
