Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient safety through thorough pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection techniques.
• Maintain effective communication with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Train new technologists and Patient Coordinators, providing guidance and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot MRI scanners and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils) to minimize downtime; escalate complex issues appropriately.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ARRT (MR) certification mandatory.
• Venipuncture certification required.
• BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year MRI experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
• Proven ability to conduct advanced MR studies independently.
• Strong self-direction with excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Valid state drivers license and any required state licenses.
• Local travel may be necessary.
