As a **Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol** in **Charlotte, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol dynamic tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide outstanding customer service by following site-specific policies, procedures, and security-related protocols as directed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
+ Observe and report on activities and incidents at the assigned location, documenting information as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and management, assisting with inquiries and providing guidance as appropriate.
+ Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and helping to control access to designated areas within the location.
+ Support a secure environment by being visible and approachable, reporting hazards and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
