Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Participate in the education of patients and families, assessing readiness to learn.
• Communicate relevant patient care information to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide complex patient care, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects.
• Perform bedside testing and uphold nursing standards in delivery of care.
• Plan and prioritize patient care needs with a focus on discharge planning.
• Engage in professional development and promote cost-effective care.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum of two years' experience in nursing
• Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
