Program Manager
Hybrid in Durham, NC
Our client requires a program manager who will operate within a complex financial services environment to drive cross-team delivery for money movement platforms. The selected professional will coordinate program execution, manage dependencies, and support scaled Agile practices across U.S. and India-based teams.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple product teams to deliver a defined program in iterations.
- Coordinate, improve, and maximize delivery of value across teams.
- Collaborate with leaders to facilitate scope and prioritization.
- Develop program roadmaps and release plans aligned to objectives.
- Define and drive the program execution strategy and ensure productive scaled events.
- Facilitate strategic and tactical discussions with product and delivery teams.
- Align team delivery with program release plans and milestones.
- Provide visibility into process improvements, impediments, and progress.
- Facilitate prioritization and removal of impediments with focus on cross-team dependencies.
- Radiate program information on status, risks, and dependencies to leadership and teams.
- Manage and coordinate logistics for scaled Agile events and practices.
- Support adoption and consistent use of delivery tools including Jira, Jira Align, Miro, and Power BI.
Experience Requirements
- 8+ years of total experience with 5+ years in program management delivering medium to large programs of medium complexity.
- Prior technical program management experience in complex ecosystems.
- Scaled delivery framework experience preferred, such as Scrum@Scale, SAFe, or LeSS.
- Strong grasp of business context and product development techniques.
- Proficiency with standard and scaled delivery practices, processes, and artifacts.
- Stakeholder and change management skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Ability to brainstorm solutions and address program-level challenges and roadblocks.
- Excellent communication and people interaction skills.
- Organized, disciplined approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience reinforcing Agile behaviors, practices, norms, and events.
- Ability to identify team improvement opportunities and leverage external best practices.
- Experience curating, communicating, and managing program status, risks, and dependencies.
- Experience working across multiple product teams to coordinate delivery.
- Experience with delivery-enabling tools including Jira, Jira Align, Miro, and Power BI.
- Financial services domain experience preferred.
Education Requirements
- Scaled delivery framework certification preferred, such as Scrum@Scale, SAFe, or LeSS.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
