Director of Crew Scheduling
About the Opportunity:
We’re seeking a Director of Crew Scheduling to lead our crew operations with precision and purpose. In this role, you’ll oversee daily scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide a high-performing team focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a collaborative, fast-paced aviation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily crew scheduling in compliance with FAA regulations, CBAs, and company policies.
- Set strategic goals and lead the Crew Scheduling team.
- Manage operational disruptions and support irregular operations recovery.
- Partner with the IOC, union leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Develop staffing grids, policies, procedures, and scheduling systems.
- Support contract negotiations, grievance committees, and pay-related procedures.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate team performance while promoting strong customer service.
- Ensure compliance with Security and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in crew scheduling or planning, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with crew management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
