Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Assembler to disassemble, catalog parts, repair and replace major systems, and reassemble construction equipment. This role requires the ability to safely mount and connect various system components including hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Candidates should possess a combination of 2+ years of related work experience and/or training, with previous mechanical experience in the military or construction equipment industry being highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and catalog parts of construction equipment.
- Repair and replace major systems components as needed.
- Reassemble equipment ensuring all components are securely and correctly mounted.
- Safely connect hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Navigate computer systems to look up work instructions, cross reference part numbers, check inventory, and reference production tables.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency with hand tools and drills.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, hydraulics, electrical systems, and equipment repair.
- Ability to navigate computer systems for work instructions and inventory checks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous mechanical experience in the military or construction equipment industry is highly desired.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edenton, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
