Job Title : Data Warehouse Developer - Teradata & Informatica (with experience on Teradata Architecture: Nodes(AMP &PE), VProcs, BYNETS, Informatica Architecture etc. )

Job Location : Charlotte, North Carolina (Charlotte is a major city and commercial hub in the state of North Carolina)

Job Type : Full time ( This position may require relocation )

Required:

• At least 4 years of experience in Software development life cycle.

• At least 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and Informatica ETL tool – MUST.

• At least 2 years of experience in Teradata - MUST.

• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects.

• At least 3 years of experience in Design and Architecture review.

• At least 3 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Informatica and Oracle Projects.

• Knowledge of Informatica Architecture, Projection Design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs.

• Knowledge of data loading techniques using Informatica tool.

• Knowledge Best Practices in Informatica, Performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs.

• Strong knowledge of Teradata Architecture: Nodes (AMP &PE), VProcs, BYNETS.

• Efficient usage of Teradata DDL Statements – Derived Tables, Volatile Tables and Global Temporary Tables.

• Hands on Knowledge on Teradata Concepts – Primary Index, Partitioned Primary Index, Secondary Index, Join Index and Compression Techniques.

• Understand the Concept of Locking Mechanisms in Teradata.

• Experience on Query Tuning mechanisms using indexes & proper usage of Statistics in Teradata.

• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.

• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

• Experience in Financial domain. Strong analytical skills.

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

• The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.

• Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

• Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications Basic:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent but should be from an accredited Institution/University.

• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of experience with Informatica (ETL).

• At least 2 years of experience with Teradata.
