Au Pair
As a live-in au pair for our family, you will be responsible for providing care and support to our three children, including an almost sassy and sweet three year old, a smart and funny four year old with mild autism, and an easy going and helpful eleven year old. It is essential that you have experience working with children of various ages and are patient, loving, and understanding. Your role will involve engaging the children in fun and educational activities, such as playing games, making crafts, watching Disney movies, going on walks, and swimming. You will also be responsible for helping the four year old with autism with tasks such as potty training, dressing himself, and following multi-step instructions. In addition, as a safe and experienced driver, you will be required to transport the children to and from activities, appointments, and school when needed. You must have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving in a variety of road and weather conditions. Our family values diversity and culture, and we are excited to introduce a third language and another culture into our home. We hope that you will be open to sharing your own culture and traditions with us, as well as learning about ours. We view our au pair as an extension of our family and welcome you to join us in family vacations, holidays, and celebrations. We will provide you with meals, your own private bedroom, bathroom, and a kitchen, living room and playroom that you'll share with just the children, and offer a weekly stipend for your services. If you are a caring and responsible individual who is passionate about working with children, especially those with special needs, we would love to welcome you into our home as our live-in au pair.
