Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled assemblers and a great company in the Asheville area.
• This role requires attention to detail in selecting components, aligning, and assembling them in the correct sequence using various techniques and tools.
• The assembler will be instrumental in ensuring that the assembly meets quality standards and follows specified guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub‑assemblies in the correct sequence per SOE, using hand and power tools.
• Install wiring harnesses, sensors, and electrical components by reading wiring diagrams and following color codes.
• Inspect parts and assemblies at key stages to ensure quality standards and custom requirements are met.
• Operate tools and equipment such as drills, rivet guns, hy‑pot testers, presses, and material‑handling aids.
• Support line operations as needed and manage materials using the company's inventory system.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as drills, rivet guns, saws, hy-pot testers, and drill presses.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of color codes for wiring and related procedures.
• Experience with the Kanban inventory system.

Work Environment

• The assembler will work in a facility equipped with various hand tools and machinery necessary for accurate and efficient assembly.
• The position requires adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.

Shift:

1st shift- 6am to 2:30pm

2nd shift- 2pm to 10:30pm

Pay Rate: $20.50/hr.

This is a Contract position based out of Asheville, NC.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
