Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guiding them through the check-in process with a smile.
• Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries regarding services and scheduling.
• Coordinating appointment scheduling and managing clinic calendars efficiently.
• Collecting patient information and verifying insurance details to ensure accuracy.
• Keeping the reception area tidy and organized to promote a pleasant atmosphere.
• Performing administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
• Collaborating with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and operational efficiency.
• May participate in supporting the clinic’s social media presence, including gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement efforts as directed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical receptionist certification is preferred.
• Social media/Marketing experience preferred
• Prior experience in a medical reception or administrative role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a positive patient experience.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with insurance processes is a benefit.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software.
• Strong organizational skills and a friendly personality to enhance patient satisfaction.
