Service & Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:
Landmark Builders is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for the Service Department in its Winston-Salem, NC office. This Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance and repair work on existing commercial properties and commercial construction projects. This person will gain experience, technical expertise, communication skills, and confidence, while serving as a valued contributor to the Service Department team.

Key Responsibilities:
Field & Repair Work

• Perform various maintenance and repair tasks including roofing, carpentry, and general labor. Required tasks may include but are not limited to:
  • Roof repairs
  • Flashing installation
  • Concrete repairs
  • Hand excavations
  • Wood blocking installation
  • Installation of hollow metal door frames, doors, and hardware
  • Toilet partition installation
• Operate hand tools such as drills, quickie saws, screw guns, nail guns, circular saws, and similar equipment.

Project Coordination & Administration

• Supervise and manage subcontractor maintenance activities.
• Perform basic scheduling and other light administrative duties.

Qualifications:
Experience & Technical Knowledge

• Experience in commercial construction maintenance, repair, or a related trade preferred.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools used in construction and maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with roofing, carpentry, concrete, and general construction repair methods.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to supervise subcontractor activities and hold vendors accountable to quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team environment.
• High ethical standards, honesty, and integrity in all professional conduct.
