CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Greensboro, NC 27403 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Facility Type: Community Hospital
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/23/2025 – End: 12/23/2025)
• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), Saturday – Monday
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2200 - $2260
• Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Equipment: Siemens 64 Definition Somatom AS, Siemens 128 x.cite, GE CT scanners
• Charting System: EPIC (required for clinical documentation)
• Vaccination: COVID-19 & Flu Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
• Local Candidate Policy: Must reside outside a 50-mile radius

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications (required for radiology jobs)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Experience operating GE & Siemens CT scanners
• Procedural skills: iSTATs, Power Ports, PPACs
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to prepare and administer contrast media safely
• Active CT Technologist license in hand at time of submission
• Education verification via third party
• Clear background check (no open cases)
• Willingness to float to other hospital campuses as needed
• Previous charge or lead technologist experience preferred
• Prior community hospital or clinical support experience preferred

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans for a range of diagnoses: cancer, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, geriatric, and general cases
• Conduct special procedures: abscess drainages, aspirations, chest tube placements, suprapubic catheter placements
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques: 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, volume rendering
• Provide patient care across all age groups in acute and outpatient settings
• Maintain radiation safety standards and follow isolation precautions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response
• Document procedures and patient interactions accurately in EPIC
• Complete orientation modules and compliance requirements before start date
