Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operation of changing batteries for all PIT equipment in a safe manner. Responsible for maintaining, cleaning, painting, and changing out connectors on all batteries. Ensures that the Battery Room, Hoist and Battery transporter are cleaned. Make sure that all PPE is worn, maintained, and cleaned in the battery room after batteries are changed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Perform battery hoist and transporter preventive/predictive maintenance
• Perform battery preventive/predictive maintenance
• Maintain ongoing communication with Maintenance/Production Supervisors and Managers

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic knowledge of industrial tools, pipe fittings, mechanical and electrical parts
