Hiring Assemblers ASAP!!$18/hr 1st shift Statesville, NC



Responsibilities

• Position parts accurately according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or by utilizing a blueprint.
• Assemble and fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners using hand tools, power tools, or air tools.
• Remove small quantities of metal to ensure close fits between parts.
• Operate machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations as specified.
• Maintain a safety-conscious approach at all times.
• Keep the work area clean and perform basic housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
• Be open to taking on additional roles and responsibilities as requested by supervisors or managers outside of typical assembly duties.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably assembly.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled and very clean, ensuring comfort and safety during your shifts.

Shift:

1st shift: 5am- 3:30pm

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
