Product Owner

Akkodis is seeking a Product Owner for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC. The position leads onsite requirement discovery and translates regulatory/business needs into actionable user stories.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Owner job responsibilities include:

• Lead onsite requirement discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to capture business and regulatory needs.

• Translate requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria while maintaining full ownership of the product backlog.

• Ensure all product deliverables comply with Mortgage and Insurance regulations such as TRID, RESPA, HMDA, and NAIC.

• Coordinate Agile delivery with offshore teams, supporting sprint ceremonies and ensuring alignment on priorities.

• Drive UAT planning, release readiness, and obtain client sign‑off for major deliverables.

• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and progress updates directly to client stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in financial services.

• Strong hands‑on expertise in Mortgage and/or Insurance domains with deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (TRID, RESPA, HMDA, NAIC).

• Proven onsite, client‑facing experience leading requirement discovery, backlog ownership, and Agile delivery coordination.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
