Mobile HVAC/Building Maintenance Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mobile HVAC Maintenance Technician to support preventative maintenance and repair operations across five facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong HVAC experience and working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
The successful candidate will travel between assigned locations using a company-provided service van and tools while utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage work orders and preventative maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
HVAC & Mechanical Systems
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment and associated building systems.
- Inspect, clean, calibrate, and replace components to maintain optimal system performance.
- Record equipment readings and make operational adjustments as needed.
- Change filters and perform routine HVAC maintenance activities.
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
Building Maintenance
- Perform general building maintenance tasks including:
- Plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Wall patching and minor carpentry repairs
- Light fixture and bulb replacement
- General facility upkeep and repairs
- Maintain mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire-life safety, and control systems.
Mobile Facility Support
- Travel between five assigned facilities to perform scheduled preventative maintenance and service requests.
- Operate a company-provided service van safely and professionally.
- Utilize Corrigo work order management software to document work performed and manage daily assignments.
- Support facility operations to ensure buildings remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Vendor & Safety Compliance
- Monitor the quality of work performed by outside contractors when required.
- Maintain tool and equipment inventories.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Properly store, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials.
- Identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Experience with commercial and residential HVAC systems.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- EPA 608 Certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized work order systems.
Preferred
- EPA Universal Certification (strongly preferred).
- Two years of trade school education in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, or related field.
- Experience using Corrigo or similar CMMS platforms.
- Multi-skilled maintenance background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Please Note: This position focuses on commercial HVAC and facility maintenance. Boiler experience is not required, and appliance repair is not part of this role.
