Job Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870

Shift Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Mon-Fri)

Description:
Safety and communication are the highest priorities in this job.
As a temporary service technician, you will be a part of a team that will focus on maintaining a specialty chemical sales account across a large paper-mill. Duties will include supporting deliveries and performing chemical transfers and will include testing, pump repair, inventory management, dosage verification and others. This position focuses on ensuring our chemical feed equipment is properly working and our products are transferred in a safe manner. It’s important to discuss all daily, or weekly, tasks with your manager/sales team.

What you’ll do:
- Support bulk chemical deliveries and perform chemical transfers to maintain product inventory at the customer site
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment
- Track inventory levels
- Perform routine testing and monitoring of treatment programs.
- Housekeeping of equipment and storage locations

Alert the manager of potential problems or opportunities and creates customer interface to resolve issues.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to work in an industrial environment: exposure to heat/cold, industrial noise, etc.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Experience with
- HVAC, water/gas plumbing, installation and troubleshooting is highly applicable
- mechanical repair experience on pumps and motors is highly applicable
