SAS Programmer Analysts

:

Prolific Sciences has openings for SAS Programmer Analysts in Apex, NC and other unanticipated locations nationwide. Duties include but not limited to

• Create submission-ready standard data presentations and data sets using standard coding and following standard industry processes including SDLC
• Creating SAS programs and producing outputs to support the analysis and reporting of clinical trials using SAS/BASE, SAS/STAT, SAS/MACRO, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/SQL, SAS/ACCESS, SAS/CONNECT, Oracle Clinical, and ClinTrial
• Developing analysis datasets for trial level reporting by following Analysis Data Model (ADaM)
• Programming standard and custom data listings, summary tables and graphs as specified in statistical analysis plan
• Extract the data from clinical database for data reporting purpose
• Develop programming specifications by analyzing protocol related documents. Meet the programming requirements for submissions as required
• Understand and plan work to deliver timelines including allowing time for internal QC as appropriate
• Whenever required, collaborate with statisticians, data managers and clinicians to resolved specifications and data related issues
• Work with supervisor to balance conflicting priorities
• Understand timelines for and milestones affecting their work and alert supervisor and client representatives to potential slippage
• Run routine QC programs, track the changes in programming and specifications and document the QC results and resolutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. ( FROM The US ideally)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries with knowledge of statistical programming related to clinical and non-clinical data in the industry
• Strong SAS programming skills in data step manipulation, macro language and major statistical procedures
• In-depth knowledge of Data Visualization, Applied Statistical Methods, Data Engineering and Mining, SPSS, R software, CDISC, C programming, JAVA, MATLAB- Simulink
