Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate long-haul dry van routes across the U.S. while operating from Charlotte, NC as an OTR solo CDL-A driver for HMD Trucking. You’ll be responsible for safe, on-time deliveries, managing electronic logs, and keeping up with required inspections and paperwork.

Key duties:

• Operate company-provided dry van equipment and sleepers on long-haul lanes.
• Complete DVIRs, logbooks, and electronic documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch and follow company routing and safety protocols.

HMD offers mileage starting at 65 CPM with weekly averages around 2,500 miles, modern trucks under three years (APUs/inverters/sleepers), in-house maintenance, home every two weeks, and full benefits. CDL-A and 12+ months verifiable experience required.
