Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Overview

• Discipline: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

• Location: Cabarrus County Schools Concord, NC

• Start Date: August 4, 2025

• End Date: May 28, 2026

• Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday

• Caseload:

• PreK12th grade

• 24 students

• Itinerant across school sites

• Setting: Onsite Only

• Duties: School-based TVI services (direct instruction, support, materials, etc.)

  Requirements

  • Active North Carolina TVI Certification/Licensure

  • O&M Certification strongly preferred

  • Willingness to temporarily relocate 75+ miles from home (for travel assignment)
