Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description

This position is responsible for preparing materials and moving raw materials. The associate will prepare components for machinery by measuring small amounts of metals into small boxes and weighing them. They will load materials into barrels and ensure the product comes off the line efficiently. New hires will work closely with operators until they are fully trained and promoted to operators.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components by measuring and weighing small amounts of metals.
• Load materials into barrels for processing.
• Ensure products come off the line properly.
• Collaborate with operators during the training period.

• Experience in manufacturing for at least 2 years.
• Ability to read and follow operation and production instructions.
• Safe and proficient shop floor practices.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.

• Proficiency in production, machine operation, and inspection.
• Experience with hand tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is a dirty space that is not heated or cooled. With a small team of 18 employees plant-wide, you will work closely with a lead for most of your tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Salisbury,NC.
