Full-Time Nanny in Beverly Woods for Two Girls, 1 and 3-Years-Old

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Beverly Woods Neighborhood of South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time nanny for their two daughters, 1 and 3 years old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (38 hours). Though the family can be flexible with the specific days and hours, if necessary.

The best nanny for this family would be warm, kind, energetic, reliable, and experienced in caring for multiple children at once. They are looking for someone responsible, organized, and a self-starter who enjoys keeping children engaged and active. Their 3-year-old attends half-day school, and the nanny will be responsible for school drop-off and pick-up. While the oldest is in school, the 1-year-old participates in activities such as music class, MyGym, and playdates. Both girls love to stay busy and enjoy going to the park, playing on their swing set, doing arts and crafts, reading books, and exploring local favorites such as the library, ImaginOn, and Discovery Place.

Both girls nap from 1–3 pm; during this time, the nanny will help with the household tasks listed below. The afternoon is spent close to home with outdoor play, walks, or arts and crafts before winding down for dinner. It is important to the family to find someone comfortable assisting with family dinner prep, including heating premade meals or making a basic dinner for the family. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of structure, creativity, and fun to the day. Both parents occasionally work from home; the nanny should be comfortable with this and respect proper work-from-home boundaries.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

• School drop off and pick up

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Family meal prep, including the children’s lunch and family dinner prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and the children throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail and stocking diapers and wipes

Pets: The family has a very friendly Golden Retriever. The nanny will occasionally be asked to feed him during the day.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on Childhood vaccinations. The annual Flu Vaccine is preferred.
