Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Asheville, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Care Center (ED) unit in a hospital setting
• Evening-to-overnight shift: 2:45 PM – 3:15 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED/ER clinical experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI (or approved equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale — all from AHA or ARC and must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
