Job Description:
As a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant , you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the accounts receivable function. You’ll ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintain strong customer relationships, and supervise a team to optimize workflows. Your ability to lead, collaborate with other departments, and handle complex issues will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of accounts receivable professionals
• Oversee the invoicing process and monitor customer payments to ensure timely processing
• Reconcile accounts receivable, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
• Lead collection efforts for overdue accounts, maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction
• Ensure the maintenance of up-to-date and accurate customer account records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, customer service) to resolve billing issues and enhance processes
• Prepare and present aging reports, collection status updates, and other key metrics to senior management
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, providing necessary financial documentation
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency within the AR department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3 years of accounts receivable experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
