Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Pediatrics | Durham, NC
Clinic-Based | Full-Time or Part-Time | CCC-SLP Required
$75,000–$85,000/Year (Based on Experience)
Help children build confidence and communicate with independence.
At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE), our Speech-Language Pathologists support children with autism and developmental delays through evidence-based, compassionate care. You’ll work within a collaborative clinical team that values communication, consistency, and child-centered therapy.
This clinic-based position offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time schedules.
Position Details
- Location: Durham, NC (clinic-based)
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time
- Reports To: Clinical Director
- Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 annually (based on experience and credentials)
What You’ll Do
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to children with autism and developmental delays
- Conduct evaluations and create targeted treatment plans
- Address expressive/receptive language, articulation, AAC use, feeding skills, and social communication goals
- Collaborate closely with BCBAs, RBTs, and families to support communication progress
- Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, progress notes, and reports
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and clinical case reviews
- Ensure compliance with ASHA standards, state licensure rules, and AutismCOE policies
Qualifications
Required:
- Active North Carolina SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Preferred:
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Background supporting children with autism
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
