SPORTS WORKER
- This job is seasonal. A seasonal position indicates that there is a start and stop date to your employment with the YMCA of SENC. Soccer staff are expected to serve during the soccer season, and may be eligible for various roles and pay rates depending on age, experience, and qualifications.
- Basic understanding of organizational skills, public relations and interpersonal skills.
- Desire and ability to work with and supervise volunteers, program participants and other YMCA employees as needed.
- Ability to work unsupervised and stay on task.
- Ability to represent the YMCA in a mature and professional manner.
- Complete certification in First Aid, Infant/Child CPR and Adult CPR within 60 days.
- Complete assigned training certifications upon request and completed on time.
- Must enjoy working with kids.
- High School Graduate or at least 16 years of age and attending school.
- Employees 14 & 15, completed Young Referee / Coach Program.
- One year work or participant experience in a sports related organization or activity preferred.
- Must be able to work within the hours of program participation.
- Ability to follow and inforce rules, guidelines, policies and procedures set by the organization.
- Must have dependable transportation.
