Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology
Description
This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic medical practice environment, catering to a diverse range of patients.
As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and evaluating medical conditions through advanced imaging techniques. You'll collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate patient care, significantly contributing to the health and well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRIs
- Interpret diagnostic images and communicate findings to healthcare teams
- Consult with referring physicians on imaging results and patient care
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for collaborative patient care
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology
- Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout imaging procedures
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Radiology preferred
- Proven experience in diagnostic imaging and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
- Active medical license to practice in the state
