RN - MedSurg/Tele
- Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg/Telemetry patients, including ED boarding cases
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms (no tele tech support)
- Perform neuro assessments and support stroke care (NIHSS)
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage cardiac drips, heparin, and blood products
- Handle complex patient populations, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and behavioral health cases
- Perform clinical procedures such as PIV insertion, trach care, chest tubes, NGT, and drain management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists
- Adapt quickly to floating across multiple units and regional facilities Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
- Strong preference for high-acuity or ED hold experience
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Comfortable with floating across facilities (including mid-shift floating)
- Must live 50+ miles from facility (travel requirement)
- First-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis
- Work at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
- Gain exposure xrczosw to high-acuity, diverse patient populations
- Build advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced ED hold environment
- Strong support system: charge nurse, IV team, hospitalists, intensivists, and more
