Key Responsibilities:

1. Transportation Services :
2. Provide transportation for residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other approved destinations
3. Ensure trips are completed in a timely and efficient manner

1. Safety and Compliance :
2. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of residents
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
4. Report any maintenance issues or incidents to the supervisor

1. Resident Assistance :
2. Assist residents with boarding and alighting, ensuring safety and comfort
3. Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids

1. Documentation and Communication :
2. Maintain accurate records of trips, including times, destinations, and any incidents
3. Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff

1. Customer Service :
2. Provide friendly and courteous service
3. Address concerns from residents or their families professionally

Qualifications:

1. Certification : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred, but not required
2. Experience : Previous driving experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
3. Skills : Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
4. Attributes : Compassionate, patient, and able to work well under pressure

Physical Requirements :

1. Ability to assist residents with mobility challenges, including lifting and securing wheelchairs
2. Prolonged periods of driving and sitting
3. Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor weather
