Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator at our state-of-the-art facility located in Hickory, NC, 28601. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual who is passionate about machinery and production processes. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our production goals.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate various types of machinery according to specifications.
- Slitters, Packaging, Print, Looms, Traverse, Converting and similar machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
- Document production data and report any issues to management promptly.
- Assist in training new operators on machinery and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Technical training in machine operation is a plus.
- Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
