Psychologist (Remote)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a licensed Psychologist to join our team and provide remote evaluations for children who may have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In this role, you’ll use well-established assessment tools to help families get the answers and guidance they need. If you enjoy working with children and families and have experience conducting evaluations, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete one-time telehealth assessments for children with suspected ASD.
• Use standardized autism tools like ADOS-2, CARS, or similar assessments.
• Write clear, family-friendly reports that explain results and next steps.
• Gather important background information directly from parents or caregivers.
• Follow North Carolina’s professional standards and ethical guidelines.
• Keep reports and records accurate, timely, and confidential.

What We’re Looking For:

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent).
• Experience evaluating children, especially around autism concerns.
• Comfortable using autism-specific tools (ADOS-2, CARS, etc.).
• Strong writing skills to explain findings in a clear, approachable way.
• Great communicator who can connect with families over telehealth.
• Organized, independent, and reliable with your time.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience doing assessments through telehealth.
• Knowledge of autism supports and evidence-based interventions.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
